Laura Nolan RN, CDCES, CPT is a diabetes nurse specialist.  Her responsibilities include professional and patient education in Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, diabetes in pregnancy, insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring technology.  She has been training patients with diabetes since 1981.  Ms. Nolan received her nursing degree in Arizona and has been a certified diabetes educator since 1986.  Laura adds a personal touch with her patients as she has also had Type 1 diabetes since 1973 and has worn an insulin pump since 1980.  She has been our Team Captain for the American Diabetes Association Step Out to Fight Diabetes walk for many years.
Dr. Joan Bailey M.D. FACP FEAA is the founding president of Midtown Endocrine Associates. She has been in private practice since October 1993. She attended Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana graduating in 1988. She then completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona in 1991. She later traveled to UCLA for her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism which she completed in 1993. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and is a fellow in the American College of Physicians (FACP) and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona School of Medicine, Phoenix. She has been named a "Top Doc" in Phoenix magazine for more than 20 years. She practices general adult endocrinology with an emphasis on diabetes, thyroid, osteoporosis/calcium, pituitary and adrenal disorders. She is the proud mother of three girls. In her free time she enjoys traveling, riding bikes, swimming and spending time with her family.

Nurse Laura Nolan

Deborah Jacoby MSN, RN, FNP-C, CDCES is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been a registered nurse since 1991 and a certified diabetes educator since 1995. She is experienced in inpatient and outpatient diabetes management, education, and insulin pump training. She received her Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree from Thomas Edison State College, Trenton, New Jersey in1999. She received her Master’s of Nursing in Family Practice from Monmouth University, Long Branch, New Jersey in 2007, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. In her free time she enjoys exploring the great outdoors and spending time with her family.
